Not a new image for me but one of my first attempts at a Hobbit. The digital camera has not done the best job and the original is a lt sharper, the colour is also a little off.

Oh, awesome. This looks just like the paintings I'd see from the fantasy artists who did the original Lord of the Rings paintings... or the movie concept art... just like that picture of Gandalf, I'm sure you know the one.
You've got the colors and the details spot on. This is what the Shire's supposed to look like. It's so very Bilbo, so very Tolkien, so very magical in that unique way that Tolkien had crafted.
All the loving details... especially that walk and the foliage. It's a shame the picture of it's so poor. It must be amazing in real life.
